About Us Worship Services at Beltsville Seventh-day Adventist Church We have two worship services every Saturday morning, a day we call Sabbath.
9:30: Morning Meditations 11:00: Family Friendly Worship Morning Meditations at 9:30 is a quiet, contemplative worship service. We read Scripture, sing hymns, give offerings, pray, and hear a sermon. Family Friendly Worship at 11:00 focuses on helping children enjoy worship. A children's story, children-friendly songs, and a welcoming environment for families with young children. This service includes all the regular elements of worship, but in a setting that values children. In addition, every Saturday morning we have classes for all ages. The class help people grow spiritually, intellectually, socially, and emotionally. The classes also meet at 9:30 and 11:00 in the education wing of the church. Our church is one of more than 60,000 Seventh-day Adventist churches around the globe. Like other Adventist churches, our worship services are on Saturday, the seventh day of the week, following Jesus’ example and the admonition of the 10 Commandments. Each week, people visit Beltsville Church to worship God. You are welcome to visit any week; all Adventist services are open to everyone. Our goal at the Beltsville Church is to connect people with God, with each other, and with the community. We hold community seminars and Bible classes, operate an elementary school that teaches Christian values, and work to improve the quality of life in Beltsville.
Visit us to see if you can find help connecting with the values important to you.
About Seventh-day Adventists Adventists believe a Trinity of three persons--the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit--make up one God. They made salvation possible when Jesus, the Son, came to earth as a baby in Bethlehem and lived a sinless life in accordance with the Father's will. When Jesus was crucified for the sins of the people of the world and arose from the dead on the third day, victory was won for everyone. More >>
